DBX OverEasy is known for its smooth, transparent leveling of the audio signal and its simple controls. You can dial in a subtle, transparent amount of compression or set to stun for an obvious "in-your-face" treatment of the audio. Next up is the frequency tunable De-esser. It helps to eliminate vocal sibilance and high frequency distortion from instruments. You can add some definition, high-end sparkle and low frequency detail to your signal by dialing in the Enhancer HF Detail control. It enables you to add some depth to vocals and bass while it cleans up muddy low-midrange frequencies.
