The formulation also contains surface active chemistry that will continue to clean even after the treated gasoline is depleted. The strength of the Klotz Catalytic Converter Cleaner is optimized to target downstream hardware such as the catalytic converter and its oxygen sensors. Empty bottle contents into a sixteen-gallon to twenty-gallon fuel tank and drive normally until the treated fuel is depleted. This product should be used twice a year to maintain engine cleanliness.
