The certification covers a wide range of applications: packaging and semi-finished products made from plastic, paper/cardboard, metals such as aluminium, and glass can be tested and certified for their recyclability.

The evidence
The percentage on the trustmark indicates the actual recyclability of your packaging, the share that can be recovered through existing recycling systems. It is assessed against the Minimum Standard (§ 21 (3) VerpackG), DIN EN 13430, ISO 15270 and the PPWR criteria with performance levels A to C.

The certification process
RecycleMe assesses the recyclability of your packaging, TÜV SÜD confirms the result through an independent conformity assessment and an audit of your production chains, in synergy with flustix you communicate the positive result in line with international green-claims rules.

Based on your documents you receive your individual certification quote.
RecycleMe assesses the recyclability of your packaging against the Minimum Standard, DIN EN 13430 and the PPWR criteria (performance levels A–C).
TÜV SÜD confirms the assessment through an independent conformity assessment and an audit of your production chains.
The certificate is issued and published in the official flustix database. Use your trustmark across all channels, at the point of sale, on your website and in sales.
To protect all licensees, we carry out regular compliance checks to ensure continued conformity.
