Sustainability for professional cleaning systems: VERMOP relies on flustix RECYCLED certification

Berlin, September 2020. Using recyclate plays a decisive role in minimising the production of new plastics and instead keeping existing plastic in the loop. The long-established company VERMOP is now demonstrating how this can be achieved successfully in professional cleaning, and is relying on independent certification from the flustix initiative: the EQUIPE buckets and boxes used on a large number of VERMOP cleaning trolleys are, with immediate effect, verifiably made from recycled plastic. This is certified by the independent flustix RECYCLED seal, which is awarded in cooperation with DIN CERTCO following a successful audit. VERMOP is thus making professional cleaning work – from healthcare to the hotel industry – even more sustainable.

For VERMOP, certification by the independent label flustix is part of a sustainability strategy in which the company pursues economic, ecological and social values. The focus is on long-term responsibility towards customers and the environment. “If natural resources continue to be depleted at today’s pace, the foundation of the economy will be destroyed – and with it the basis of life for this and future generations. We have committed ourselves to counteracting that.
