The scope of the certification is broad: every production stage along the supply chain can be certified, from consumer goods through products, semi-finished goods and raw materials to packaging.
The following product categories (and more) can be certified:
… as well as further suitable product groups along the entire supply chain.

The evidence
The plastic content of your products and packaging is determined in labs internationally accredited to ISO/IEC 17025, using state-of-the-art methods such as TED-GC/MS. Conformity is assessed independently by our certification partners. This lets you robustly substantiate EU standards such as PPWR and SUPD.
flustix seal family
To clearly declare the certified goods to consumers, customers and other stakeholders, labelling follows three specific categories:
This flustix trustmark assesses both the product and its packaging. Every component is tested independently and must meet specific criteria to qualify for the “Total Product” certification.
Suitable for: Complete products incl. retail packaging
This flustix trustmark applies to plastic-sustainable products (excluding packaging). The certification requirements are based on international standards for the specific product category and material type.
The seal graphic shows an exemplary threshold, in general, at least 99.8% plastic-free content is required for successful certification.
Thresholds for paper-based products made from virgin fibres:98% plastic-free, plus the option of declaring at least 98.75% or 99.25% plastic-free content to encourage innovation.
Thresholds for paper-based products made from recycled fibres:At least 97% plastic-free content for successful certification.
Suitable for: Consumer goods, products, semi-finished goods, raw materials
Packaging that is at least 95% plastic-free qualifies for the green trustmark, whose requirements are based on the EU regulation PPWR (Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation). The holistic sustainability perspective enables circularity in packaging disposal, with subsequent recycling in the main material’s waste stream (e.g. waste paper for LESS PLASTICS certified paper packaging). To encourage innovation, labelling follows a three-tier system with verified plastic-free content of at least 96.5% or 98%.
Suitable for: Fibre-based, aluminium and other packaging
