What this trustmark states

The flustix LESS PLASTICS trustmark limits the plastic content to a defined threshold; the assessed figure appears on the trustmark itself as MIN. X % PLASTIC-FREE. The certification expressly draws no comparison with other packaging or with what is usual in the sector, but measures against a fixed limit. That is precisely what makes the claim robust: there is no comparison for it to rest on. This mark assesses the packaging. Raw materials and semi-finished goods destined to be processed into packaging are subject to the same requirements. For packaging based on virgin fibre, colours and inks are excluded from the calculation of the plastic content.
