About flustix
flustix is a pioneering initiative dedicated to responsible plastic management through 360° certifications for plastic sustainability. Our goal is to enable both consumers (B2C) and businesses (B2B) to make informed and conscious purchasing decisions. This promotes sustainable innovations in plastic usage at all levels and supports the development of environmentally responsible solutions. flustix offers internationally protected consumer seals registered with the EUIPO.
The flustix Seals
- flustix LESS PLASTICS: Products and packaging with strictly limited plastic content.
- flustix MICROPLASTIC-FREE PRODUCT CONTENT: Liquid product contents or liquid-performing products, such as dishwashing tablets or cleaning agents, without microplastics.
- flustix RECYCLED – DIN certified: Products or packaging made from plastic or other materials containing recycled content.
- flustix RECYCLABLE – DIN plus: Recyclable packaging made from plastics, metals, glass, paper, cardboard, or other materials.
Third-party certification and partnerships
We collaborate globally with independent, accredited certification bodies and recognized testing laboratories to offer certifications based on international and national standards. These partnerships and the third-party certification system ensure objective evaluation and global trust in our seals. Our flustix seals help companies meet regulatory requirements for verifying sustainability claims under the Green Claims Directive and Directive (EU) 2024/825 “Empowering Consumers for the Green Transition” through independent third-party certification. Certification Solutions
Wide range of applications
Almost any sustainable product or packaging can qualify for flustix certification. The aim is to clearly highlight the plastic sustainability properties of products and packaging through flustix seals, providing transparent and credible information to both business customers (B2B) and end consumers (B2C).
Promoting circular economy
The flustix circular economy seals, flustix RECYCLED and flustix RECYCLABLE, offer an additional layer of transparency and are available as combination seals in collaboration with DIN CERTCO / TÜV Rheinland. All material streams can be certified, including plastic, paper/cardboard, metals, and glass.
Procedures & Transparency
Laboratory-based certification
Each product that seeks to carry one of our seals undergoes strict laboratory testing to determine plastic content or recyclability.
Supply chain auditing
For the flustix RECYCLED seal, a detailed audit of the supply chain is conducted to verify the use (quantity) and type of recyclates.
Your Licence
Seal usage
After successful certification, the flustix seals can be used for marketing purposes directly on packaging, at the point of sale, in print and online media, as well as in TV advertising or direct communication.
