flustix certifies claro tabs as free from microplastics

Berlin, December 2020. With claro, the Austrian manufacturer of washing-up and cleaning products, another company is putting its trust in the seal “flustix product content without microplastics” – and thereby in transparent communication backed by trustworthy testing procedures. The only independent certification of its kind gives consumers certified assurance and guarantees that a product contains no microplastics. claro, a supplier of alternative WPR products, had three of its tab varieties tested in dissolved form. Having passed the assessment, the dishwasher tabs, available in various pack sizes, may now carry the flustix seal.

The three claro dishwasher tab varieties Multi, Classic and 100% Classic – available in several sizes – have been tested and can now present themselves to customers at the point of sale as independently verified with the flustix seal. Malte Biss, founder and managing director of flustix, explains: “Water-insoluble plastic particles are still used far too often in the WPR sector. It is all the more pleasing that, with the claro dishwasher tabs, there is a more environmentally friendly alternative on the market without solid microplastics.”
