Guest article at SEEDMATCH: flustix certifies sustainability at the point of sale

Plastikflasche schwimmt im Meer

As a proud winner of the Crowd Award, flustix is delighted that the Seedmatch team has published a guest article by Malte Biss. In the blog post the flustix founder explains why it is becoming ever more important for companies to have plastic-free products (or the use of recyclate in products, components and semi-finished goods) independently tested and certified, rather than advertising with self-declarations.

flustix gives companies the opportunity to label their sustainable products in a trustworthy way. In doing so, flustix gives consumers the chance to choose plastic-free, reduced-plastic and/or recycled products reliably at a single glance at the point of sale. That more and more consumers are also questioning advertising messages critically pleases not only flustix but also those who already rely on our independent, accredited consumer seals. Among them are Biobaula, a supplier of plastic-free cleaning products, and the organic drinks brand TeeFee, whose products already carry the flustix seals. Demand here has kept rising over recent months. The product lists for Recycled and Plastic-free show which products already carry the flustix seals.

That sustainability generates revenue has long ceased to be a secret. According to another blog article on Seedmatch, this trend is also apparent right now, at Christmas, when it comes to giving presents – „experiencing instead of consuming“. Alongside sustainable, certified products, more and more people are giving experiences in the form of vouchers for sport or wellness. Which sectors benefit particularly strongly from this can likewise be read on Seedmatch.de.
