International standards, accredited testing partners and our sub-licensing model enable scalable implementation from manufacturers and private labels through to brand owners, without duplicate testing.

Certified recycled content based on DIN EN 15343 and ISO 22095. Cross-material verification of recycled content, supporting PPWR, EmpCo, plastic tax and EPR-related communication.

Regulation
EmpCo, PPWR, SUPD, plastic tax and PFAS are raising expectations for sustainability communication. Supplier declarations alone may no longer be enough for credible external communication. With flustix, companies create robust evidence for regulatory communication, international supply chains and credible product claims.
Green Claims
From 27 September 2026, environmental claims in the EU will face stricter requirements for substantiation, transparency and credibility. Missing or insufficient substantiation can lead to penalties of up to 4% of annual turnover.
Packaging
The EU Packaging Regulation increases documentation requirements for recycled content and recyclability. The responsibility for substantiated packaging communication lies with the brand owner and requires objective, reliable evidence.
Financial benefits
Spain and France provide financial benefits for certified recycled content. Example: 1,000 tonnes of packaging material with 30% recycled content may yield tax benefits and/or bonuses of up to €165,000 per year.
Pollutants
Stricter REACH restrictions and PPWR-related requirements increase market pressure for verified PFAS-Free communication. Companies that prepare early can strengthen their market position.

The Process

We advise you free of charge on which flustix certification fits your product and your green claims. We then capture all relevant information in a structured way and prepare your individual quote.

Our accredited partners assess your product through testing, audit or technical evaluation, depending on the certification scope. The independent conformity assessment is carried out in line with ISO/IEC 17065, creating robust evidence to international standards and supporting the level of substantiation increasingly expected under EmpCo, PPWR and other relevant regulatory developments.

After successful certification, you receive your certificate and public database entry, enabling you to communicate your green claims with confidence across packaging, websites, marketing and supply chains. Via the flustix sub-licensing model, certification rights can be transferred efficiently to the brand owner, especially for private-label structures, without repeat testing.
Study
Whether plastic-free, microplastic-free or PFAS-Free: sustainability is becoming less visible. Trust is created through independent proof. The current EFSA and BfR study shows that consumers expect clear, credible information and increasingly base purchase decisions on independent proof.
